Annual Empty Bowls Event
Thursday, April 21st, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM
The Annual Wittenberg University Empty Bowls Event will be held Thursday, April 21st, from 4:30–7:00 PM at Wittenberg University, 737 North Fountain Ave, Shouvlin Center, Room 105. Bowls are $20, and the price includes a Soup to-Go from local restaurants. All proceeds go to the local Second Harvest Food Bank. For more information, contact Scott Dooley at 937-327-6327.

Professor Kay Koeninger of Sinclair College will present an interactive analysis of European artworks depicting judgment, including Johannes Vermeer’s Woman Holding a Balance, c. 1664, in the National Gallery of Art. Advent focuses not only on the first coming of Christ, but also the second coming, which is often associated with judgment.
