Christian Education

  • A nursery is provided for children ages 3 and under.
  • Elementary Class: Creatively look at a new Bible story each week.
  • Middle School (4th-8th grades): Led by Chris Oldstone-Moore, the Middle School class meets in the Youth Room immediately following the 10 o’clock service.  The Middle School class will begin to explore and focus on bible study and spiritual growth.
  • High School (9th-12th grades): Led by Judy Johnson, this class meets in Youth Room. They will look at Scripture stories that will help them understand biblical allusions in texts used in advanced English classes.
  • The Adult Forum: Adults meet in the Parish Hall for wide ranging discussion covering topics from Bible study to topics of concern in our community.

Whatever your age, join us on Sunday morning for a conversation that is thought-provoking, engaging, sometimes humorous, and always meaningful as we think about our faith and why our faith matters.

Youth Pizza Theology

Youth Pizza Theology provides 4th-12th graders an informal opportunity for deep, meaningful theological conversation.  The group meets on the first Sunday of the month in the Bethel Room for Bible study, conversation, and pizza as they wrestle with topics like forgiveness, incarnation, heaven, evolution, and other topics of interest.

Children’s Chapel

Children’s Chapel occurs during the Liturgy of the Word on Sunday mornings during the 10 o’clock service. Children in kindergarten through third grade are invited to the chapel to hear and experience the gospel lesson for the day in a way that is age appropriate and fun for them.  Children’s chapel always includes a story, and might also include a song, craft, game or other activity to help the lesson come alive for the children
