Whatever your age, join us on Sunday morning for conversation that is thought-provoking, engaging, sometimes humorous, and always meaningful as we think about our faith and why our faith matters.
Flash Compline, a service of prayers at the end of the day, as part of Pub Theology 2.0. We gathered on City Hall Plaza across from Security Bank to pray this quiet and brief service before heading across the street to Seasons Bistro and Grill Restaurant for continued conversation. Topics have included “What makes a meaningful Christmas?” forgiveness, failure and baptism. Conversation is lively and the fellowship is great. Flash Compline and Pub Theology 2.0 are generally on the first Thursday of the month at 7pm.
Classic Pub Theology provides 4th-12th graders an informal opportunity for deep, meaningful theological conversation. The group meets on the first Sunday of the month in the Bethel Room for Bible study, conversation, and pizza as they wrestle with topics like forgiveness, incarnation, heaven, evolution, and other topics of interest.
Children’s Chapel occurs during the Liturgy of the Word on Sunday mornings during the 10 o’clock service. Children in kindergarten through third grade are invited to the chapel to hear and experience the gospel lesson for the day in a way that is age appropriate and fun for them. Children’s chapel always includes a story, and then might also include a song, craft, game or other activity to help the lesson come alive for the children.
