OUR CAMPS

Procter Summer Camp, a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio, creates a place for children, youth, and families to grow in faith, sing, learn, play and pray in the peaceful farmland of London, Ohio. By demonstrating and encouraging Christian community we are showing daily what the world could be like. At Procter, the we are intentional about sharing God’s love with one another and our campers; children and adults. We seek and serve Christ in all people with whom we interact at camp, modeling joy, respect, and inclusiveness.

Grade Level Camps
A camp week at Procter Summer Camp incorporates Christian formation periods, time spent with your cabin, and outdoor activities like: swimming, arts & crafts, basketball, canoeing, blobbing, fishing, soccer, football among others. After dinner the camp participates in a large group activity together, followed by campfire, devotions in cabin groups, and lights out. Campers stay in one of our cabins with counselors. Campers should attend the camp based on what grade they will enroll in fall 2017.

Creative Arts Camp

Creative Arts Camp follows a similar daily schedule to grade level camps, but this week campers are immersed in visual arts, music, drama, writing, dance and team building. Focused on the arts, our faith is woven through daily activities and worship. Play with God and catch the spirit in creating!

Family Camp

Family Camp offers families an opportunity to spend quality time together in Christian community without worrying about meals, planning activities or spending on an elaborate vacation. Each day consists of various activities, including Bible study, worship, time outdoors and sports activities, arts and crafts, music, swimming, the amazing talent show (please bring your talents!), and much more. All activities are optional, so you and your family can decide what you want to do each day. The summer camp staff leads all activities and worship, so you are able to enjoy the activities with your family. Procter Center is equipped with a swimming pool, tennis courts, a fishing pond, a lake for canoeing, a peaceful chapel, a labyrinth, a work out room for adults, and plenty of natural beauty to make your stay even more enjoyable.
